The Malaysian MTrans Holdings Sda Bhd has long been a bodybuilder for MAN and Scania buses in Hong Kong. In September 2005, they delivered an hybrid hybrid bus to Ocean Park to replace their Jit Luen JL-03 bodied Isuzu LT133L.

The bus was based on an MAN A51 chassis. It was fitted with an electric hybrid system provided by one of their business partners, Enova Systems. The hybrid bus was capable of reducing fuel consumption by 40% and exhaust gas emission by 90% from a conventional diesel bus.
